Inspired by Picasso and with the use of acrylics, I took a minimalist approach to representing femininity in this painting. I love how female beauty can be captured in such simple and diverse ways. Women have been the subject of art (music, paintings, sculptures just to name a few) since the beginning of human history and continue to be. There is just something about women that inspires artists, regardless of gender, to represent their essence from their point of view. If we take a moment to think about it, it's quite fascinating just how pronounced that lure is.
