Gloomy Forest

For many, hiking season is in the fall. The leaves are in full display of their pretty colors and the weather is just right. Although I love hiking in the fall, I've overlooked the views during all its seasons. It's so interesting to see the many faces and personalities of the mountain range. Even though you may hike the same mountain, you will never experience it the same way. Gloomy Forest is inspired by a spring hike that I went on. It was a gray day, the trees still stood naked from the winter, but when I reached the top, I could see the sun peeking out from under the clouds. The sun's rays were ever so gently beaming on the naked trees, serving as a warm blanket. I had witnessed something beautiful.
