For me, minimalism in the artistic sense, is about finding the balance between simplicity, necessity, and intention. A painting needs to feel like all elements are absolutely necessary; without one part, it would be incomplete. All elements must also be placed with intention. What you see is intended to make you feel something strongly. What that feeling is subjective and can differ from person to person. How does 'Fluidity' make you feel?
